QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using standard English; -Able to interface in a pleasant and professional manner with all departments, level of management, customers and vendors. -Able to complete assigned tasks, including follow-up assignments, in a timely manner. -Must be willing to work irregular schedule when required. -Familiar with the following FAA regulations, 14 CFR 43, 145 and 121 -Experience Maintaining compliance with OSHA regulations and record keeping preferred -Will be required to thoroughly audit work packages, ensuring that all assigned work has been properly completed and documented. -Able to competently research and retrieve technical data. -Properly interpret blueprints, drawings and other technical data. -Five years hands-on Aircraft Maintenance experience or five years specialized experience in a related aviation field. -Demonstrated proficiency with PC applications (Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Data Analysis tools). -Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills. -Be able to analyze information and utilize problem solving skills. -Be able to work under adverse conditions in a production I aircraft hangar environment. Safety Inspector- Maintenance When the predominant work involves aircraft maintenance, applicants for Safety Inspector Maintenance positions will meet but not limited to all of the following requirements. -Experience involving the maintenance and repair of airframes, power plants, and systems of multi-engine aircraft of more than 12,500 pounds maximum certificated takeoff weight maintained under an airworthiness maintenance and inspection program. -Aircraft maintenance experience in a repair station; air carrier or airline repair facility; military repair facility; or local, state, or Federal governmental agency. -Experience involving the maintenance and repair of airframes, power plants, and aircraft systems with responsibility for certifying airworthiness. -Aircraft maintenance work experience within the last 3 years. Safety Inspector- Avionics When the predominant work involves avionics, applicants for Safety Inspector- Avionics positions will meet but not limited to all of the following requirements. -Aircraft avionics experience involving the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of installed avionics systems on aircraft. -Avionics maintenance experience on aircraft of more than 12,500 pounds maximum certificated takeoff weight. -Aircraft avionics work experience (which could include supervision or auditing) in a repair station; air carrier repair facility; military repair facility; or local, state, or Federal governmental agency within the last 3 years. EDUCATION: -High School Diploma or equivalent -FAA A&P certificate -ASQ, ISO or similar certificate preferred -Formal Quality Assurance I auditing training preferred -College or University 2/4 year degree preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS: -May be exposed to high level of noise, dust, vibration and chemical fumes (within OSHA limits). -Able to climb on ladders and platforms occasionally attaining heights of various aircraft types.
