Fleet Transition Structures Engineer
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the position:
The Fleet Transition Structures Engineer manages and oversees structural damage, repairs, and modifications within the Wizz Air fleet. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and quality standards while supporting key engineering and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:
- Review structural damage and repair records on a daily basis.
- Maintain the Structural Damage and Repair Database and provide up-to-date structural repair status upon request.
- Support MOC as needed for structural damages and repairs.
- Assist Maintenance Planning with tasks related to structural damages and repairs.
- Oversee structural repairs, rectifications, and modifications performed by line or base maintenance in accordance with approved data and quality standards.
- Review findings from CPCP and SSI tasks, ensuring they are implemented within the continuing airworthiness system.
- Manage the landing gear removal and installation process, preparing necessary traceability documentation.
- Follow applicable requirements of the Safety Management System.
- Provide support to the Senior Structural Engineer, Continuing Airworthiness Manager, and the Head of Maintenance and Engineering as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience within a CAMO or AMO organization is desired.
- Degree in Engineering or B1 Licensed Engineer.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Thorough knowledge of Part-M, Part-CAMO, and Part-145 regulations.
- A320FAM CEO/NEO type training (Level III) is desired; A330 type training is an advantage.
- Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS, and Human Factors training are preferred.
- Working experience with AMOS is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle complex structural tasks and collaborate effectively across teams.
