We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Maintrol Engineer to join our Engineering team based at our Head Office in Didsbury, Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role at the heart of our operation, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of our fleet.

The Role
As a Maintrol Engineer, you will:

Act as the central coordination point between Line Stations, third-party maintenance providers, and flight crews to ensure safe and reliable daily operations.

Manage scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintenance programmes.

Control and monitor Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADDs), driving timely rectification and coordinating spares, tooling, and documentation requirements.

Support aircraft recovery through technical guidance, logistics coordination, and management of crew duty-time considerations.

Provide real-time technical assistance to pilots and engineers during both in-flight and ground-based operational events.

Coordinate information flow following aircraft incidents and contribute to operational recovery planning.

Allocate aircraft in line with operational, engineering, and maintenance priorities.

Improve aircraft and engineering performance through proactive use of aircraft monitoring and prognostic tools.

Deliver specialist technical support while balancing safety, regulatory, technical, and commercial considerations.
About You
You will possess:

UK/EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 Licence.

Experience within a maintenance or maintenance control environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ability to interpret complex technical information.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

High levels of situational awareness and sound decision-making capability.

The ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Proven ability to deliver cost-effective solutions and drive operational efficiencies.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to process compliance.

Good understanding of airline operations and engineering procedures.

Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
