Software Engineer - GMD Weapon System

Target salary range: $90,000 - $120,000.00

Principal Systems Engineer job in Huntsville, Alabama is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Defense company. In this full time, direct hire, salaried job you will support the Ground Based Midcourse (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) by performing MBSE activities in support of the programs GSS IPT

Qualifications:

• U.S. citizen with Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Bachelors degree or higher in a STEM related field.
• 5+ years of related experience with Bachelors degree; 3+ years of related experience with Masters degree
• Experience developing software in C++ and Java
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience with automated testing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
• Experience with low level software to hardware interfaces
• Experience with CMake
• Experience with gRPC
• Security+ certification
• A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
