Summary:
Manage and maintain inventory of tools, materials, and supplies.
Process, verify, store, and deliver materials per company and customer requirements.
Perform shipping, receiving, inspection, and documentation of materials.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and barcode readers.
Prepare materials for storage, assembly, and shipment (e.g., kits, hazardous materials).
Conduct inventory audits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with safety and procedural standards.
Analyze production schedules to ensure material availability and resolve issues as needed.
Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in proper working condition.
This role offers the opportunity to support essential program operations in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills:
3+ years in computer-based inventory or warehouse management systems.
2-3 years in stockroom or crib procedures.
1+ years managing government property (acquisition, receiving, inventory).
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiar with operating material handling equipment and tools.
Lift and carry up to 35 lbs; occasional 2-person lifts for heavier items.
Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated platforms, and noisy environments.
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and reaching overhead.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work rotating shifts.
Desired Skills:
Experience with government property management processes, including disposition and contract closeout.
Knowledge of hazardous material handling and shipping requirements.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
