Join Our Team as a Reclamations Lead! Are you a detail-driven professional with 3–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience? Do you take pride in precision, teamwork, and leadership? We’re looking for a Reclamations Lead to guide our team in the careful and accurate removal of aircraft parts. In this role, you’ll lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. We’re seeking someone who embodies our core values of Respect, Safety, Quality, and Results—and thrives in a collaborative, professional environment.

As a 24/7 operation, we have openings across all shifts—including standard day shifts, 2nd shift, weekend shifts, and 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be flexible and willing to be assigned to any shift based on operational needs.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively leads maintenance teams performing aircraft teardown, including cleaning parts, removing, and cataloging aircraft components.
  • Perform and oversee structural, hydraulic, electrical, and powerplant system teardowns.
  • Interpret and apply maintenance manuals, and specifications to guide reclamation methods.
  • Accurately document all work performed, including tagging of parts, completion of work cards, and reporting to supervisors/Production Control.
  • Lead, train, and coordinate mechanics and technicians, assigning tasks, tracking labor time, and promoting a collaborative, safety-focused work environment.
  • Enforce company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as backup to the Reclamation Supervisor as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
  • Current valid Arizona driver license, with a clean driving record

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years aircraft maintenance experience with 2 years of leadership/supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English, including following verbal and written instructions.
  • A&P or Repairman Certificate preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level.
  • Occasional crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Comfortable with confined spaces.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

EQUIPMENT OPERATED:

  • Aircraft ground servicing equipment
  • Tugs and tractors
  • Hi-lifts and trucks

  • Hand tools

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Exposure to high-intensity noise levels
  • Exposure to extreme changes in temperature
  • Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
  • Working at unprotected heights
  • Working around moving machinery
  • Aircraft fuel tank entry

OTHER DUTIES:

  • May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
  • Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of department management.

Work Location: Aircraft Reclamation

Potential Hazards: Exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, electrical charges and radar waves, materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, working around moving machinery.

Protective Equipment Required: Goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, safety harnesses, breathing equipment, safety boots.

- Any employee who observes an unsafe action or condition should bring it to the attention of supervisors and managers. Certain conditions may allow the employee to easily correct a condition or situation.

- In all cases, the employee must notify his/her supervisor of any actions taken by the employee. The first employee to observe an accident or incident should take immediate action to alert appropriate responders/supervision and to take reasonable steps to prevent further injury, or damage.
