Job Title - Rotating Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Rotating Machinist to support production by assembling and wiring generator components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, follows instructions carefully, and can consistently meet daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Wire generators and related components using copper wiring
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete assemblies accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, route, and secure wiring
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
- Maintain consistent production output while meeting daily quotas
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and functionality
- Keep work area clean and organized while following all safety protocols
Work Environment
- Fast-paced production setting
- Repetitive, hands-on work at a designated workstation
- Team-oriented environment with a focus on productivity and quality
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and written instructions
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality work
- Ability to meet production quotas in a repetitive environment
- Good hand dexterity and comfort working with wiring components
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous wiring or assembly experience
- Experience working with copper wiring or electrical components
- Experience in manufacturing or production
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr.
