- Hours: Weekend shift, Friday - Sunday 7am-7:30pm
- Salary: 29.25 ph PAYE (+holiday pay) or 39.31 UMB
- Clearance: Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
The Role
As a SHE Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the development and implementation of safety, health, and environmental practices across a high-performing business unit or site. You’ll be the go-to expert for all things SHE—providing competent advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Champion and support the roll-out of SHE management systems aligned to ISO45001, ISO14001, and internal frameworks.

Provide hands-on, competent SHE advice to operational leaders to help them manage SHE within their areas effectively.

Drive SHE improvement initiatives and help embed a proactive safety culture across the organisation.

Lead or support investigations into incidents and near misses, using appropriate tools to identify root causes and corrective actions.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure SHE risks are identified, assessed, and managed appropriately.

Monitor compliance with legal and internal SHE standards, conducting audits and assurance activities where required.

Prepare and present SHE performance reports, highlighting key trends, insights, and areas for action.

Play a key role in supporting and delivering innovative SHE change programmes.
What You’ll Bring

Solid understanding of UK SHE legislation and best practices, ideally gained in high-risk environments such as defence, aerospace, manufacturing or construction.

Proven experience in influencing stakeholders at all levels to embed SHE principles and drive behavioural change.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work dynamically in a complex and regulated environment.

Clear and confident communicator, able to convey SHE priorities with credibility and impact.
