Job Description:

The Technical Publications Intern will be responsible for identifying, defining and documenting key Technical Publication processes, and reviewing/revising current process documentation.  This role requires strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, in order to effectively extract data from subject matter experts and document this in a simple, clear and concise fashion.Key Responsibilities:Key Objective: Identify, define and document key Technical Publication processes, and review/revise current process documentation.  For example: IFS ADR/MCR work order life cycle; Pennant authoring high-level process; DHC-8 Maintenance Program authoring life cycle.Project Management: Develop, execute, and monitor the project from inception to completion, ensuring deliverables are met within scope, budget, and timeline.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.Review Repository Infrastructure: Review the current infrastructure of the Technical Publications documentation repository, recommend alternative approach and work with DHC IT to implement.Qualifications:Education: Enrollment in Aviation/Aerospace program is preferred.Experience: Related job experience is an asset.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is required.Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
